WHISTLER, CANADA

WHISTLER – is a tourist ski resort located 120km north of Vancouver and 40km from the Pacific. During the winter, students can enjoy more than 200 ski and snowboard runs. And during the summer, there are other fun activities, such as hiking, mountain bike, kayak etc. Whistler was one the host of 2010 Winter Olympics with Vancouver.
It has a permanent population of approximately 12000, plus a larger but rotating population of seasonal workers, typically younger people from beyond British Columbia, notably from Australia and Europe.

Campus has a great location in main Village Square, only 300 steps from the gondolas. All students in campus can use on-site sports equipment storage. Average age of students in campus is 24.

Whistler was the host city for 2010 Winter Olympics together with Vancouver.  This event has increased the tourism even more in this ski resort.
